BA Jazz Festival

Everything from classic bebop, to jazz fusion, swing and nuevo tango is celebrated over 6 days at the BA International Jazz Festival. The Festival has been going since 2008 and plays host to some of the best international talent as well as welcoming home many local artists living abroad.

International Highlights
The Festival kicks off on Tuesday 10 November with the Peter Bernstein Quartet at the Usina del Arte, and closes with US saxophonist and composer Branford Marsalis and his quartet at the Colon Theatre. The lineup also includes a high dose of avant-garde jazz with Satoko Fujii (Japan) and her quartet Tobira, Camila Meza (Chile) fresh from breaking out into the New York scene, and a night dedicated to new Israeli jazz.
