Jorge Luis Borges died on June 14, 1986, in Geneva, Switzerland. Thirty years on, the Porteño writer is considered one of the most important in universal literature, to the extent where some divide the history of literature into B.B and A.B (Before Borges and After Borges.) Buenos Aires simultaneously inspired and was inspired by the writer, and throughout the second half of June, the city will be hosting free events dedicated to its most acclaimed literary figure.
